Splinterlands: Get out of Bronze for better rewards - Gold III reward breakdown

Hello everyone,

I've been playing Gold III for quite a while now, the rewards have definitely improved since the move from Daily Quests to Focus Chests.

59 chests is the most I have ever achieved in a season, and like everyone else I love opening them.

Looking at the DEC reward first, there was 59 total chests, of which 14 were potions, 21 were cards, with 2 card Packs.

Therefore:

Qty DEC chests = 59 - (14 + 21 + 2) = 22 Chests containing DEC

Average DEC per chest = 5176 / 22 = 235 Dec per DEC Chest

Cards:

1 Epic (1.6%)
4 Rare (6.4%)
14 Common (23.7%)

1 Gold Foil Rare (1.6%)
1 Gold Foil Common (1.6%)

14 Potions (23.7%)

2 Packs (3.2%)

Pack #1:

1 Epic Earth Monster Grund
1 Rare Death Summoner Thaddius Brood
1 Common Neutral Monster Chaos Agent
1 Common Earth Monster Venari Knifer
1 Common Fire Monster Radiated Brute

Pack #2:

1 Rare Death Monster Life Sapper
1 Rare Fire Monster Scavo Firebolt
1 Common Death Monster Silent Sha-vi

From personal experience, I cannot recall the last time a Pack dropped when playing in Bronze and the Bronze DEC rewards are about 1 tenth of those from Gold, so why limit yourself to Bronze?
