I was right. This season I didn't climb as high (or higher) than the last season, owing to the fact that I played much less. I was pleasantly surprised with an easy run into my last quest, which snuck me into the champion ranks with a few hours left in the season. That makes me pretty happy.

I'm winning just over half my games, which is probably where I want to stay. Translating that to reward placements in tournaments is also pretty good, which means I am consistent across ranked and tournament play, and there always remains the opportunity for improvements. I finished at an all time high, knowing it was good to stop as soon as I hit champ 3 with hours left.

As I find myself in diamond and above more and more, I find myself limited to the max level champions I do have. There's a strong indication that I may need to focus more closely on my team composition when playing Water Splinter, as these are consistently below a 50% win rate.

I'm liking cards with more crowd control (stuns, blinds, poison, etc) - as they add an effect that constantly hurts the opponent. Unfortunately, I haven't got t he right balance with healing my own team, and I remember a while bunch of battles I played throughout the season, where if I had a healer in tow, I would've won.

Taking sides, and target practice. These are where I tend to use legendary summoners to my advantage. However, I seem to be pretty good at using non-legendary summoners as well, as evidenced by a strong showing in Silenced summoners. It's also clear that I don't like odd numbered monsters, and adore those with even numbers. Food for thought.

I just want more Nectar Queens before they're all out of print. Made about ~2000 less DEC this season over last.
Looking forward to seeing some new tournaments pop up post the equilibrium hard fork, and seeing what comes next in Splinterlands, with SPS, new rental / delegation system, and hopefully, being able to reveal land drops! It's all a waiting game!
