What a wild ride this season has been! A few days into the season, I've realized that it's going to be a super short one because of February only having 28 days. Up until then, I had mostly only been playing my quests and getting back to the top in that short amount of time proved to be pretty stressful. Nevertheless, I've pushed through the leagues in the last few days, giving me a shot at Champion I on the last day. After some back and fourth I've realized that my current rank would probably suffice to place in the top 50 even though I wasn't in Champion I yet. 10 Untamed Booster packs certainly have a better expected value than 30 reward chests, so I decided to let things stay where they were.

I've already opened 3 of these packs before running out of potions (still have a backlog of more than 100 Dice packs to open, I'd love to be able to buy potions from other players!) and got 2 Legendaries from it - a Chanseus the Great and The Vigilator, so this season's rewards are certainly looking great!

I'm quite happy with my overall performance, my win did not change and is still sitting at 1.31 but I did a lot better in crunch time and also managed wins against the top guys, beating jacekw twice this season for example. With my ever growing collection I feel like I'm having more and more matches where I'm really at an even playing field. It's not only about collection power, though, these guys at the top are there for a reason and I still have a lot to learn before I can really go eye-to-eye with them

Nevertheless, I'm especially happy that I made it back to the top 50 for this season, even I didn't finish in Champion I. So the goal for the next round is obviously already set: Finish in Champion I and get back to the top 50 again. This is going to be fun!

Love these numbers, I'm getting better and better at deciding when to go with Zintar Mortalis or Owster Rotwell. Same is true of Yodin Zaku and Pyre, although I'm missing some key cards for Pyre in some cases. The Llama Mage has seen less plays than last season and that really improved his win rate a lot - up to 54.67% from 48.19% last season. I'm slowly learning when to pick what and as I've already hinted at in my Play2Earn Report, I really need to get some more Summoners to have more options in some of my matches. Heck, I might even consider buying into the water splinter eventually...

No big surprises here, Tower Griffin and Flame Money standing strong together, those two are just such an amazing combo. Sand Worm also made it way up there, ever since I've upgraded it to max monster level, it's a strong play in many high mana matches and I both use it with Yodin Zaku and Daria Dragonscale. One odd thing is the low win rate of Screeching Vulture, I wasn't aware of that, really need to look into why I'm loosing that often with it, really liked the card so far.

Ah, Noixous Fumes. I've said it last time and I'll say it again, I love this rule set! I've also had some good fun with Stampede - several games ended by one of my cards trampling the whole opposing team in one go. The 85.71% in Lost Legendaries is also pretty great to see - it's almost as if I'm mostly missing the Legendaries to compete with the top of the top ;-)

I'm worse at Reverse Speed than what I anticipated but I have two cards on my short term buy list that should help with that a lot. Now I only need to decide whether I want to go with a Summoner purchase first or get these cards next.

No super lucky stuff again but over all some really decent drops for me. 39,760 DEC is a bit less compared to the 40,553 DEC I've made last season but then the season was also quite a bit shorter so I'm not going to complain about that. I've also found several new cards to rent out, bringing the numbers of cards I rent out up to 101 - I love that part of the game!

All things considered, this has been a really good season for me and I'm already looking forward to the next one. I'm super excited to be back in the top 50 again as I've struggled in that regard for several seasons now. Let's see if I can get back there again this season!
