Dec. 10, 19: AutomaticWin, TripleTen, Zombierun, and Teaching Calculus
Got a bit more sleep today, so had enough energy to bust another #DoubleDay! 😃
We got out early and despite the cold and snow making the sidewalks super slippery, we scored a #AutomaticWin and #TripleTen!!! 💪👏
I had to stop the map to synch up and get the pics taken before ten, so that’s why it doesn’t show all the way home.
In fact, I had nearly eleven and a half kilometers in the bag before ten!
On our Zombierun today, we found Maxine...dead. It was my job to take her ashes and dump them into the ocean, and in the urn she had something special left for me...maybe the keys to something? I don’t know exactly what. Weird thing is I could hear her voice the whole time; maybe I’m psychic as well as a zombie survivalist?!
Quite a few zombies out today. One came right after another and I got caught and had to sacrifice an item. 😢. It doesn’t happen all too often, but getting munched isn’t fun. Six out of seven zombies evaded and dead person thrown into the sea.
Wintery morning this morning. Not a lot of snow, just a dusting and enough to make walking a bit of a challenge...using some unusual balancing muscles for sure.
The clouds thickened and we got significantly more snow later in the day.
Gotta’ catch a ray when you get a chance, they don’t last long.
My daily Steemmonsters quest for today was the water splinter. That’s usually relatively easy for me, so I was hoping to complete it in Gold I. Unfortunately, that was a no go; in fact, I got knocked clear down to 2300! Still hovering now around the 2400 mark...so close I can taste it, but oooooh so far away.
Still five days or so left in the season, so plenty enough time. Considering getting some more Untamed packs, I miss opening them in the morning and leveling up my new monsters. Not sure yet, but probably will end up doing it anyway. I got another quest potion charge with DEC for tomorrow.
Not too bad rewards today. My Battle Queen has finally leveled to the point that it has tank heal, certainly helpful. 😁
In the evening I taught calculus. We covered examples of each type of problem on the final. The next two days are giving exams, then grading, then Christmas break!!! 🎉 🎈 🎊
Got my stats today for the last week. Up, up, and away with the green arrows! 😀. Last week was very red, so I kinda’ expected it, but I think I’m on track to beat last week. We’ll see, goal is to have two all green weeks in a row.
