July 6, 20: Walking, Xbox, and Games

Six thirty it was today with about a half hour short on sleep. I really dragged in the afternoon, but powered through (despite accomplishing basically nothing the entire day).

Some old, same old for the morning dealeo. Suuuuper bored with the cryptos...wanna’ trade something! At least we did see a little more volume yesterday, but it only tested resistance and started coming back again, all range-bound anyway.

My back’s been kinda’ bugging me, so I didn’t go out in the morning. Mainly just fiddled around on Discord, watched some YouTube and played some Torchlight on the Xbox.

I did want to check out if the post office still has weird hours or not (since I need to mail the taxes soon - that I still haven’t done 🤭), and so I did head out for a relatively short walk.

Nice and hot out by that point. I stopped by Mom’s house and chatted with her for a bit and then just did a little loop around town and by the post office. As far as I could see, they’re back to normal operation, but I didn’t go inside.

Might be past time to bust out the bike! I think I only went once last year and haven’t gone at all this year. Damn Fitbit doesn’t count it properly though. 😡😢

Unfortunately, during the night, something rather large got into our garden and absolutely devastated the pea plants. 😭 Chewed all the tops off...just have to pray the plant come back.

I spent most of the rest of the day hiding down in my hidey hole (the man cave in the basement)...it’s cool down there and I can smoke.

I really needed to get the taxes done; been nagging at me big time, but for some reason I just keep procrastinating. Got to get it done!!!

Wenche worked a long shift today, so by the time she was finished it was basically time to go to bed (well, watch some tv and fall asleep).

By that point I hadn’t even broken ten thousand, which is super usual, but I was able to get just over the line; didn’t really have any good reason to break the streak.

Still doing alright in my dCity. I will admit that the BEER income is less than I had hoped for and the taxes are complete bullshit, but I did get a little SIM for the day.

I had a totally rockin’ day on Holybread today. Got all my tasks done early without a problem.

I’ve blasted all the way up into the top twenty!!! We’ll see if I can hold up here. Bought more potions to try and make sure.

I had Fire splinter for my Splinterlands quest today. I got on a really nice win streak for a while there! It was such a good streak that I barely even minded when I lost. 😁

Nine days still remaining in the season and I’ve already broken into Champion!!!! 🏆💪

Not only was I able to get into Champion, I was able to complete my quest there with a potion charge. Pretty good rewards today! Got a Legendary, a new sniper, and an Untamed pack:
