Tottenham FC has just ended the contract of it's team coach Mauricio Pochettino after five years of the Argentine been in charge.

Pochettino was handed the Spurs job in 2014, after which he went on to take the club to greater heights as they became regulars at the Champions league and challengers within the EPL top four.

Their impressive run saw them go as far as playing in the Champions League final this year which they unfortunately lost 2-0 to eventual winner Liverpool.

Pochettino job at the club came under serious threat as Tottenham marked a poor start to this season campaign compared to previous seasons as they've been without a win in their last 5 EPL fixtures. They currently sit at 14th on the EPL standings, 20 points away from league leader Liverpool.

Earlier today the odds were high on Pochettino been the next coach to be sacked, Unfortunately that came to play out.

Club chairman D. Levi confirmed Pochettino sack, stating that the club was unwilling to let him go but the board just had to make a decision, putting the club interest in mind so as to move forward quickly and get back on track.
