Splinterlands - Advantages of being a Guild member

Splinterlands Guild is definitely a great addition to the game. Steemmonsters is one of the best games in the blockchain world. One good thing about the game is that it is fully decentralized. Anyone is free to see any data about the game without any restrictions as all the data is on Steem Blockchain. I started playing this game very late. I still feel that if I had started playing this game a bit early, it would have been really nice and I would have progressed really well in the game. But it is never too late.

With the recent introduction of Guild in Splinterlands game, the game is really getting interesting because the guild members now get extra rewards based on the level of the guild they are. If you check my battle outcome, I usually get some bonus for using Gold foil cards. Apart from that my every game gives me 9% additional advantage for being a part of a guild.

The 9% extra bonus DEC that I get from the rewards is something that I get on all my battle winnings. The reason is that I'm part of Neoxian City guild and the City Guildhall is currently in Level 8 and it is already approaching towards Level 9.

The contributions to the guild can be in two ways. It can either be in the form of completing quests or in the form of DEC contributions. My splinterlands deck is not very powerful yet to yield good DEC every day. Instead, I'm able to contribute to the guild in the form of Quests. I make sure I complete my quests regularly to do my part of the contribution to the Guild. People who are well equipped with nice cards are able to contribute to the guild in the form of DEC. In order to upgrade the guildhall, lots of DEC is required. I should say that it is one of the best use cases for DEC tokens.

I completed the daily quest as usual and received the above cards from the quest. As always I'm happy about getting these cards because something is always better than nothing.
