Splinterlands - Started winning games after I purchased Level 3 Unicorn

I was so frustrated with the continuous losing streak that I had yesterday. I really wanted to do some quick investment in the game by purchasing some more cards. I did some analysis to check what makes me lose many games in spite of having a decent Life Splinter deck. I found out that I did not have a concrete tank for my life splinter. Even though I had some ranged monsters to attack in the game, because of a bad tank, I couldn't stand well in the battle.

The cost of the card was 1.5$ per card. I initially thought it was a bit costly but when I looked at the skills of the card, I thought it was worth investing and it will definitely boost my Life splinter deck performance. I immediately went to my Steem Engine wallet and bought some DEC tokens. I really wanted to purchase the card using DEC tokens instead of direct steem.

There were actually 2 cards available in the market. One card was just level 1 and another card was level 3 card. My intention was to buy only the level one card for 1.5$ but I was so tempted to purchase the level 3 card. I think I spent around 45 steem to purchase this card. Could be a worthy investment. I'm not sure about it but I really feel happy to use this card.

I'm not sure if the luck was by my side after purchasing the card because I was on a continuous winning streak. Though it was not with the help of Life splinter, I really felt happy about it. I did lose some games even after that with life splinter but it was still manageable. I was also able to complete the quest easily and grab some reward cards from the quest.

I received the above cards from the quest reward. Not very bad I should say. Every single card counts.
