I'm new in splinterlands and got my first Quest Reward
A few days ago I heard about the trading card game Splinterlands for the first time, and tested it directly.
After creating a free account, I was able to play a few rounds and was thrilled with the implementation of the combat system.
But to be able to play properly, with rewards and quests, I was missing the necessary starter set.
But without a credit card or paypal I didn't have the possibility to buy such a set. So I was very happy when I got a promo code from Matt Rosen.
Now I can finally play properly and I already did my first Daily Quests.
My first reward was 6 DARK ENERGY CRYSTALS.
I hope to be able to buy my first Untamed Pack from the rewards in a few weeks.
I would be happy if you could give me a few tips on the game so that I can get ahead faster.
If you already have double cards that you don't need anymore, I would be very grateful if you could delegate or gift me some of them.

Melee monsters in the front and ranged in the back / Magic can go anywhere is basic game strategy. Try to use something with large health and/or health regeneration in first position.

Thanks for the hints. I understand, how it works with melee, magic and ranged. But how can monsters regenerate its health? Are there special monsters later in the game, or how can monsters regenrate health. Don't see any regeneration in my battles.
Some monsters have the ability to regenerate their own health. Others have the ability to regenerate the health of the monster in first position.
Is @digdig your splinterlands account name as well?

I just sent you a couple cards with health regeneration. One for the water splinter that has self heal and one for the Earth splinter that will heal your tank (first position monster).
