Checking Out The News And Progress On Splinterlands

That is me the gas station filling up the car tank while reading up some new info on current happenings in the country and internationally. Nationally, it seems that the easing of the lockdown in some parts of the country is making people believe that the corona virus pandemic is over. This is indeed a dangerous but people are just taking it laying low.

A lot of people are no longer wearing face mask because some of them believe that the virus is not in the country as reported by the media. I have had to argue and explain with difficulty to a group of people twice this week that the corona virus does exist. One of such people told me she hadn't seen anybody that had the virus and I replied her that she shouldn't pray to see someone with the virus as it is dangerous and could also expose her to the risk of contacting the virus. Finally, I ended my argument by asking her if she has seen anyone living with HIV. I guess that question nailed it. Lol. Stay safe guys.

I got the Water splinter today and it was easy up to some point until I just needed two more wins to complete my daily quest. That was when the big boys started lining up for battle with me and doing all their best to stop me from completing my daily quest. At some point I suffered four defeats in a roll. Lol. That wasn't too bad though as the points deducted were not too much so when I had my winning opportunity, I was able to recover points quickly and progress accordingly.

I maintained my strategy of using the LORD ARIANTHUS as my tank as it has magic reflect and thorn abilities, I also used the CRUSTACEAN KING for tank heal, depending on the rule set I use a mix of magic attack monsters with stun to help slow the enemy monsters down a bit. I didn't use sneak attack monsters for the water splinter as the magic attack concentration on the tank is meant to finish off my enemy tank as fast as possible.

Wow! I received an Orb again today for my rewards opening and hope it becomes a regular for me. Lol. For my rewards opening today I received an Orb, one Rare card, some common cards, a bunch of Legendary and Alchemy potions and then some more tiny collection of DECs.

The Orb opening was even better than the main rewards opening because I got one Gold card, one Rare card and three Common cards. That is really some Orb I got there I must say.
