My first ever tournament earnings! - Steemmonsters

Nothing worse then starting the day of on a 10 game losing streak. The wins were few and far for the day. Hoping my luck would turn around I saw I was able to play in today's tournaments without conflicting with my work schedule. However going into bronze tournaments I was not expecting much. In past experience I did not amount to much and never won anything.

There were two tournaments I signed up for and the first one I got knocked out in the first round. 😔

In previous bronze tournaments the best I was able to do was get to the third round out of seven. I never reached top 32 to earn any DEC. (FYI for those who do not play in tournaments they are a drag as it can take hours to finish. Each round all contestants have to finish their bouts before winners can move on, so sometimes it will take up to 15 minutes to complete a round.)

A few hours later I started my second tournament and from here things took a turn for the better. In the second tournament I was able to get up to the 3rd round, and won 1 out of 3 matches. Snapshot of my matches and results.

As mentioned earlier, my best tournament results were 3rd round matches and today I had one. I got a surprise an hour later when the tournament ended. I was surprise to learn that I was ranked 22 overall! 😃 Earned myself 200 DEC! 😃

Got a legend and a rare out of four reward cards!😃 Goes to show you just got to keep on playing and things will work out in your favor.
