Is Steem about to make a heavy bull run

So it turns out Steemit Inc might of sold to Justin, but what about those so called SMTs did they just get placed in the pile of shit that Ned has created? Justin is a marketing genius. He owns Poloniex where more than 2 mil Steem sit. Is this a good thing for Steem or is Steem going to be swapped for another coin and than dumped?

It kind of makes it a bit insane to think Steemit Inc had no intention in letting the blockchain know what is was doing behind the curtains.

Was the SMTs all a broken promise from the start. Will Steem bill run continue or will it come to a complete stop.

It seems Steem will be a forgotten coin unless there is communication and an understanding on the mechanics of their next moves.

Keep in mind Steemit is not Steem but Steemit Inc being the majority share holder I think Justin can move Steem which ever way he would like.

I mean Splinteredlands joined Tron first maybe they saw potential in Steem and Tron. But let’s see of course I want to see Steem rise as much as all of us. What would be the point in spending so much time and effort creating our own little space in this blockchain.

Only time will tell.

I don't foresee every single tribe simply dropping their project, esp steemleo.

It also seems that "big picture" wise, if we are going to onboard a bunch of new users, then those of us who have been waiting for SMT's will be the minority.

I really hope we see some splits off the blockchain and everyone now owns more than one coin... And that at least one of those continues going up in price.

Although this info has been withheld for awhile now, I do believe Steemit has good intentions here... or am I hoping. Who knows. We shall see. I’m excited to see that livestream tomorrow.

This whole thing makes me nervous... But I shouldn't worry over what I cannot control...

Dear @chronocrypto

Solid question. It seem to me that SMTs and HIVEs were only promissed - never to be delivered.

Many people seem to worry if this will be some sort of hostile takeover. I worry too, however I remember in the past Instagram users were also worried once Facebook bought over. Similar story.

Any idea how much did Justin pay for this transaction? Most likely he could spent less money on building similar userbase by hiring several professional marketing agencies across the globe. I may be wrong, but I like to believe that he wouldn't spent much just for that reason. Especially knowing how badly STEEM userbase shrinked after recent fork.

Im afraid that if we would need to do SWAP and exchange steem to TRX, then it means that everyone need to power down to receive liquid steem. And that would mean cancelling all delegations.

All curation trail and network of auto-upvotes would be distrubted. All of it would be gone. For many large projects out there (like curie, ocdb, tipu) it may be a very challenging time.

What a year so far. Iran , coronavirus, chinese economy and manufacturing in chaos, printing record high amount of money by central banks, upcoming recession and now this news about steem and tron.

Interesting and challenging times ahead of us.
Yours, Piotr
