Steem, Sun, Ned and Us

We have four or maybe five players in this continuing Steem drama:

Ned
Witnesses and top whales
Justin Sun
The rest of us

Ok, so @ned sold his ninja mined stake to Justin Sun without telling him that it could not be used for certain things. This is if in reality his saying that he wouldn't do it is legally binding, if this is so then I think Justin would have to solve his problem by going after @ned .

But @ned didn't sign anything so he is not legally bound to honor his word, he comes out as a morally wanting person maybe but not as a crook, maybe some people see it another way but that is the way I think it is.

The witnesses and some large whales decided to freeze Justin Sun's account with a soft fork, mainly because they were afraid of losing the power which they obtained mostly through ninja mined votes (@freedom). which actually makes their case against Justin Sun kind of moot because they are guilty of the same thing. I really don't trust these guys that much perhaps just a little more than I trust Justin Sun. Also they reached the decision to run the soft fork with a consensus of 65 people who attended a Discord meeting. I wonder what these guys think consensus is?

Then Justin Sun, he bought the stake from @ned, I really think this guy is a smart businessman and he does hold most of the cards, if it wasn't so the witnesses would have sent his stake to null days ago. I also don't believe anyone is going to spend 10 million dollars without doing his due diligence, he knew and knows damn well what he got into and after seeing the meetings between witnesses and him I think he is playing with you guys, he can vote all of you out he has over 70 million SP, it just doesn't suit him to do it. He did it when he needed to unfreeze his stake if things get rough he will use all his stake for voting, I think he has his own plans which we know nothing about.

Then it comes to us the lowly users, we are being asked for our witness votes after years of the witnesses and top whales screwing all of us for their personal gain, and the result is that they haven't gotten all the votes they would want, last time I saw it was 32,000 witness votes cast in these days at 30 witnesses per person that means just over 1,000 people voted, not really consensus. In the end I do think these guys will reach an agreement and things will continue on Steemit much as they are now, but I am betting if anyone gets screwed it won't be Justin or the witnesses, it will be us.
