VOTE FOR YOUR WITNESS and Guess where I went contest announcement

Following from my SPUD post and my Guess where I went contest, I can now reveal that after my recent Singapore trip, I went to Abu Dhabi in UAE. The edited image I showed in my contest post is, as some of your guessed correctly, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center.

This is a truly stunning mosque, and I will be sure to share my journey there with you.

And talking of witnesses, I know your feed must to filled with posts about witness voting in the past couple of days, and I know this is mentally tiring for many. You know why you're feeling this way? It's because you care about Steem. Those who don't care about this issue are either inactive and have no vested interest, or sitting with a box of popcorn rooting for Tron.

Sadly, I know there are some who are happy to see the top 20 community witnesses getting their ass kicked. And no I'm not talking about the Koreans because I don't know them. These are people who's sole intention here is to live off other people's projects to milk the system and rape the reward pool. Thankfully, they've only had limited success that's why they've largely managed to stay under the radar. They couldn't care less if the Steem blockchain is centralised and get taken over by Tron because they will just move on and latch onto Tron. That's what parasites do.

TIME TO VOTE

Last night I was canvassing in one of my TG groups. At that moment, we had the top 4 community witness spots and @themarkymark was at number 6. I asked people not to vote for #5 and #7 onwards. Within 2 minutes @themarkymark had dropped from #6 to #7. Luckily someone else picked up that change. And that's all within 3 minutes. Things are moving so fast that it's difficult to keep up.

Now I tell people to check which version of the software the witnesses are running. Steempeak is a great place to check this. Anybody running v0.22.5 are Tron puppet witness. V0.22.5 is the code that allows them to take over the Steem blockchain. The software version number is highlighted in blue in the middle. None of the community voted witnesses runs this version of software, and their software version is highlighted in grey. The blue tick on the end means I have voted for these witnesses.
