The Steem Silver Gold Community (@ssg-community) has been present on Steem for years and years - nerding about Silver (what's todays spot price, which special coins do I have in my collection) and sending each other coins while holding Steem Silver Raffles.
One amazing thing they have done for the third year in a row: make a Silver coin with a Steem design made by one of their community members!
Wait, whut? Yes, really, there are thousands of Silver coins being stored around the world that have 'STEEM' on it. The first Silver ROUND was made by @bearone (this one is really hard to come by I've been told), and the second one was created by @welshstacker.
This year they created a competition where members could share their designs for the Steem ROUND of 2019, which in the end was won by @edxserverus!
I can only imagine how much of an honour it must be to see your design for the STEEM Round come to live...

I guess you already know where this is going... These Steem ROUNDS can be won! Yes, really! There are 10 Steem ROUNDS going to be send all over the world free of charge to 10 lucky winners! In order to hod one of these silver STEEM Rounds in your hands you have to WRITE A POST of 500 words or more about one Steemian that is special to you. If your story is the best story, then both you and the Steemian you wrote about will receive a Steem ROUND!
Isn't that awesome? Share a story about an amazing person and both hold one of those rare (only 1500 of them have been minted!) Steem ROUNDS in your hand?

- Each entrant may submit ONLY ONE nomination.
- Individuals may be nominated more than once.
- Entrants should compose a nomination post with a minimum of 500 words and place a link to the nomination in the comments of this post. Please use the tag #steemroundgiveaway on said post.
- The nomination period will close in seven days at post payout.
- Nominations failing to meet the requirements will be disqualified.
- Five winning entries will be selected by the panel of judges (@soyrosa, @newageinv and @dfinney) with entrant and nominee each receiving one Steem Round mailed world wide free of charge.
- Entrants and nominees agree to share their postal details with @raybrockman to facilitate delivery of the rounds.
- Winners will be announced within 48 hours of post close.

I have two wonderful steemians I'd love to nominate. But I'm really confused on who to nominate Cus according to the rules, just one steemian is to be nominated😟😟. Lol, I still need a day or two to weigh both of them😂😂.
I've got few questions @soyrosa.
If the person I nominated wins, we both get the rounds right... But what if 15 other people nominated that same person and wrote something splendid about him/her too?
Most people want their details to stay hidden(me included). Cus I saw on the original post that winners would have to send their postal details to someone for them to get their prizes sent to them. Can't equivalent amount of the prize in crypto (STEEM, ETH etc) be sent to the winners? 🤒🤒

Hi @abdex, not sure if this eases your concerns or not, but Ray Brockman is the man organizing the steem round orders this year. He made the website. He organized the competition to select this year’s design. He is working with the mint to order the silver and have the rounds made. Ray is also a moderator for steem silver gold and a trustworthy person. So if you or a nominee were to win, please know he would only use the info to send your rounds. He has my address, I have won items from him before. He has been on steem about as long as person could have been on steem. Plus, he uses his real name as his handle because he is just that kind of guy. Integrity is a big deal for him, so he will certainly take care in his dealings with round winners and those who purchase the rounds online.
