Jarvis - Steem Engine Auto Claiming

(Edited)

Greetings Steemians,

I've added auto claiming for Steem Engine tokens to Jarvis.

For more information what Jarvis is and what it can do for you, check out this post or head over directly to Github, where you will also find installation instructions. (info: it's quite tech-heavy)

Update Instructions

A git pull from the master's branch is enough to update your version.

If you're already using Jarvis to claim the Steem rewards for your account(s), then Steem Engine tokens will also be automatically claimed.

Otherwise, you just have to make sure, it's activated inside the configuration ~ "claim_rewards": true,:

"ACCOUNTS": [
    {
      "name": "veryuniqueaccount1",
      "claim_rewards": true,
      "key_account": "veryuniqueaccount2",
      ...
}

Steem Engine API Node

There's also a new setting inside the configuration for the Steem Engine API Endpoint (STEEM_ENGINE_API). By default, this is set to https://scot-api.steem-engine.com. Unless you want to change this, there's no direct action needed.

What's next?

I saw that @holger80 provided a script to auto-powerup (stake) Steem Engine tokens, which is pretty cool and something I might add in the future, as soon as I have more time available.

However, if you're a developer, you could also implement it yourself and then submit a PR, as Jarvis is open-source. If there are any questions about the codebase, just hit me up on discord. (therealwolf#8970)

Last but not least, if there are problems or bugs, please let me know.

All the best,
Wolf
