The App Store is host to thousands and thousands of games. Some categories are well stocked, complete with hundreds of copycats and clones, others are rather poor.
One of the most underwhelming categories, especially given the popularity of pool games, is the pinball section.
Luckily Apple Design Award Winner Inks. is still as awesome and gorgeous as it was when originally released. And optimized for all devices (iPhone 11 owners will surely also be catered to soon enough).
Every x months I keep reinstalling Inks. on my iPad just because it’s that gorgeous and slightly challenging too.
Because gorgeous without challenge, that would be a socialite right?

Oh, this is cool. I like how it spills inks and draws lines as the ball travels, hits the walls and objects. Definitely worth $2.99 price.
It's both beautiful and challenging. Deserved design award winner.
BTW the devil is in the details. Watch how parts of the ball take color too. And how that's even graded, depending on whether it's the part that hit the wall or just traveled through a splash.
Oh, I didn't notice that at first. Pretty cool.

The game seems to be good and enjoyable and it is not costly at the same time. But I can't afford iPhone :grinning:

This game seem to be fun but it's available only for iOS and I use android. Any update if it's coming to android as well?
Well... I did introduce it as an iOS game. 😅
I doubt it will come to Android, they are a high level indie Apple dev studio, raking in Apple Awards with almost every new title. But they did release Kami 2 on the play store. So maybe future titles may make it to Android too.
pictures don't do justice, the video on the site is very helpful. The game is artsy as hell. what a great way to improve an old classic!
Apple is good at finding artsy apps for their Design Awards. :D
Look cool pinball game with more twists and turns added to make it a little challenging, i really like it coz it uses inks blotches whatever you may call them. This might seems silly but it ends up creating really beautiful images & users can take these images and share it with their friends & users can do all of that while having fun. Cool Find

It was like Flappy Bird pre-Flappy Bird era and with an ink blot.
When I saw this I downloaded it and I can say it’s really good and addictive app , everyone should try it and give here a feedback. I am really thankful for this hunter

I have the game, yes. I've long followed State of Play and usually get each new title as they are released. Indie dev shops like that are a worthy cause to support and most titles are max $5.99. Then just look at their portfolio and check the amazing titles, highly rated and awarded titles they have. <3

Sometimes I open the folder of old games and apps downloaded a while back because a dev I follow or some respected site recommended the app.
There's some little gems in there. But was surprised this hadn't been hunted yet since Kami was hunted. Pretty sure someone will check State of Play Games portfolio for which one has yet been hunted. If didn't already happen. 😏
