When writing I don’t like my OS or writing editor to take focus. I don’t know about you but I like them to stay out of my way.

I want to write and that’s it. I don’t want visual noise to distract me.

At the same time, I suck at writing on a daily “ritual” basis and often I need a contextual trigger. A trigger which I mostly get from reading news, opinion pieces and the [hopefully] subsequent proverbial inspiration kick up the bottom cheeks.
