Goodbye Steemit?

This Justin Sun - Steemit Witnesses/Whales thing has about run its course. Now the thing that is wanted is that Justin Sun apologize to the witnesses and things will go back to normal. Hell, things are never going back to the normal we knew, there is a new normal, a normal where the users have absolutely no trust in witnesses that freeze users stakes via soft forks, and users that can connive exchanges to power up and vote that persons witnesses in.

When you guys soft forked you actually started something that now has no return, you actually froze an owners Steem and showed that this concept of Steem being a decentralized platform is crap. It was run by the 65 people who decided to run the soft fork and that is that.

Now you have expended all your ammunition and you think you have a deadlock and are waiting for Sun to make the next move, now suppose he buys an additional 70,000,000 Steem, what will you do then? Soft fork that Steem too? That soft fork was a dumb move, and I think you guys realize it now and are trying to fix it with delusions like Justin Sun apologizing. This guy is sneaky he is capable of apologizing and doing the exact contrary thing he said he would. So good luck fighting with a millionaire who has much more resources than all of you have together.

Now the only honorable way out for you guys is to hard fork and create a new coin, Steem Classic as many say it should be named. This coin will probably tank because Justin Sun will make sure of that, from what he says it appears he is kind of vindictive.

But witnesses, just do whatever you are going to do now, I am just waiting for the word and I will power down all my Steem, or even better sell my account I think I could get more money that way. Yes I am now seeing all of this in a negative light, I think Sun could have done something for this platform but I think that ship has sailed. So I will wait and see if the witnesses do hard fork and then decide what to do with the little Steem I have. I am hoping that due to the fact that Steemit is getting all that free news the price will at some moment go up and I will get more than what the coin is really worth.

This is my opinion, but unfortunately after reading a lot of comments on this I think the majority also think like this, the guys who are rooting for the witnesses are the same guys who have always been circle jerking or looking for big votes. Nothing good will come out of this impasse.

To be fair. The stake that I bought had strings attached to it. It was never truely mine. However I am Justin Sun. Who the fuck do these malicious hackers think they are. How dare they to freeze my precious stake that I legally purchased with my hard earned money? Bunch of cunts!

It was run by the 65 people

I don't think you understand what decentralization means. Not only were they 65 people, but it was Consensus, or agreement among 65 people, and 65 people who had majority of the community support, exactly like it was intended. Owning illegitimate funds, funds that are tainted as such comes with it's own risks, and no one is forced to honor those funds, no body, so painting the witnesses as some rogue actors that despite the multitudes of and lack of any kind of allegiance, saying that they all acted like a centralized entity only betrays your lack of understanding regarding what centralization is as opposed to majority consensus forming in dpos, in defense of the chain. As for sunJoe, Buyer Beware.
