People are buying BEER tokens for Steem City game

For the past few weeks, I have been observing that the value of Beer tokens is continuously increasing. One good reason for that is the Steem City game. There is a feature inside the Steem City game where you can initiate a party with 5 Beer tokens to boost your popularity for the next 24 hours. The advantage of having boosted popularity is that you will be able to bring more new citizens to your city.

You can start a BEER Fest event once in 4 days. Most of people look forward to getting Hard Worker or Worker from the BEER fest event. Getting a Homeless and Immigrant is not a great idea because they reduce popularity. That is one of the reasons why we see so many people selling their Homeless and Immigrants in the market.

Coming back to the BEER tokens. This has always been one of the highly used tokens in the Steem world. After this token was created in Steem Engine, people started using this token to tip on posts with good content. The price of these tokens and demand was not very great at that point in time.

For the past few days, I have been noticing that the price is considerably increasing slowly. One good reason for that is the use case the token has in the Steem City game. If it was just a one time purchase thing, there would have not been a considerable increase like this. As this is a frequent thing where people buy this token from the market every 4 days to do a BEER Fest in the city, the price of the token is increasing.

Investment opportunity

I would like to say that this can be a good opportunity to invest some money in BEER tokens. As far as I see for the past few weeks the token value has been increasing in the market. If we purchase a lot from the market now and keep it safe, we can probably trade it for a better price in the future. Of course, it is just my personal thought and not financial advice.

As long as Steem City game is there in the Steem blockchain, I guess the Beer Fest feature will be there and for which people will continue to purchase Beer tokens from the market an that can pump the price of BEER tokens. I myself keep buying tokens from the market every 4 days to conduct a BEER fest in my city.
