Do My Witness Votes Matter?

avatar

Screenshot of Steemit Wallet.jpg

With all this upheaval and the new line drawn in the sand by the witnesses I want to ask the people in the @steem.leo community if my witness votes matter.

I ask this because as you can see in the photo I have only used a few votes and on a couple are in the top 20. I like the idea of what the witnesses are doing and want to participate.

So do my measly little votes count toward this goal? If so, who do I vote for or how do I distribute them properly. And if this matters, shouldn't we implore other steemians to use their witness votes?

Yes, it does matter. It all adds up.

Thank you for your presence of marlians.com

It will splendid that you can also join the ulogs community and post ulogs in it. You can invite others to join too! This is direct link:

What Is A Ulog?

A form of a content spanning across any topic or niche, that is created 'fresh' at every instance (i.e without resourcing from that internet), composed entirely of ‘excerpts of U’.

The word 'ulog' can also be used in terms of 'a web-space made up of ulogs'. Similar to how one would say, "i have a blog" or "i have a vlog"; one can say, "i have a ulog". However, a ulog possesses tenets that allows content-creators to 'consciously evolve their human', while reshaping the internet.

The letter 'u' seen in the word 'ulog', is synonymous to 'you'.
A ulog created today should not have existed anywhere on the internet yesterday.

The concept of 'ulogging' is a steem-born innovation.

If you desire, you can vote on the 'steemgigs' witness.

Of course your vote matters. No matter what the size, if you are active and powering up, your stake will keep growing. This will help those Witnesses you vote for.

With a small stake, it obviously requires thousands of votes to amount to something. But if everyone took the approach it does not matter, then nobody would end up voting.

As for who, there are a lot of worthy candidates. I focused mine in the top 20 but others have a different approach. The top 20 is changing a lot over the last couple days.

Thanks. I'll wait for some more input and then vote. I'll probably go with the top 30

Absolutely they matter. A the very least they matter to me you know? Even if my vote does not make or break an issue I feel good knowing I have voted (or not voted) for a certain person.
