What I expect of Steem the next few weeks!
First of all, clarity!
After the dust has settled about the takeover of Steemit.inc by Justin Sun, people and also witnesses are talking a little more sense again. The price rise was pretty amazing, especially when you read the scare of a lot of people about the not so subtle tweet by Justin Sun. After a talk between the two main characters (Sun and Scott) and the forum of the witnesses, it all became clear that nothing is going to happen to the Steem blockchain right now. And there will be no swap of Steem for Tron or whatsoever. And I don't that will happen in the future too. This all looks a little clumsy by Justin Sun, but my opinion is that this was done deliberately. Just to steal the attention away from the EOS Voice Beta release. And it worked like a charm. So, in the coming days and weeks, I expect some clarity about the road ahead for Steem and Steemit, and I expect SMT's to be released quite soon!

Steem price
Steem price jumped to 30 USD cents, and then dropped back to around 21.5 USD cents. Nothing wrong with that, but in my opinion, that is just a clear bargain. Because don't be fooled people. Action will take place on here. The Steemit team has a leader now and the money to act. And they will act, that is for sure. Justin Sun did not buy Steemit to lead it into the ground. He will try to make the most out of the platform AND out of his stake, because remember, he is also the proud owner of + 30 million Steem, he wants and will succeed in making that stake more valuable. So, believe me, we can say goodbye to the current prices of Steem. I expect a rise to close to a dollar in months only...
Changes
We can also expect changes, big changes, of course all in consensus with the witnesses, but Justin Sun is a smart guy, he will get his will through, with or without the help of the community or the witnesses. So I expect quite some difficulties around that. I think the whales will have less power in the future, and that will sting. If you want to onboard the masses, you have to make it interesting for them. So the power of the whales will have to become smaller, so or the reward curve or the downvotes or whatever that has to change will change in order to succeed. I think this all is good in the long run, but it will be a bumpy road. But hé, nothing new for us Steemians right, we are used to a bumpy road. Heck, our cars are built for that.

I am afraid there is by far still more downward pressure of holders waiting for a break even mark then potential bulls Justin brings in... I remain hopeful yet critical as if action needs to be taken waiting is not in our best interests.
Very clumsy indeed, far to many misspoken details mixed with marketing language... he is in it for the money so we can trust he will profit one way or another I just hope he’s profiting with us and not off us!

Only if he actually understands the value of our chain comes from the dapps, content and creators and not hyped trading volume as per everything else 😉 the language used so far says otherwise. I’m not sure he realizes what he actually bought into and how critical many of us will be of the confusing statements.
I think he is smarter than most of us think, he perfectly knows how this place works, but is playing the dumb card now... For what? To buy some more cheap Steem?
That is also a possibility 😉 though he isn’t gaining anyone’s favour by playing games here
Hopefully we can see the commitment on action soon. It’s been a long time 😂
