Farmer's Market Thursday! A Story in Photos

avatar

It's Thursday at the Farmer's Market!

Every Thursday in the summer months, we visit the Farmer's Market and concert in the park. We don't stay for the concert, but we enjoy the atmosphere as people gather.

Our featured vendor is Joosehause, the best foofoo drinks ever!

I don't often get $7 foo foo drinks, but when I do, it has a giant slice of mellon on the side!

@lturner tried the drink, she liked it!

Dinner by the river, but the girls were more interested in finding some ducks to feed.

We had a lot of rain recently, so it looks like someone put a bunch of picnic tables in the middle of this pond!

Daniel had a blast at the playground!

You’d better get a big slice of melon for as small as that cup looks! I bet it tasted really good though.
Does Lauren experience any back problems? I’m already putting my back out with this one; I think it’s getting worse with each child. At this rate, I don’t know how many more kids I’m going to have. I’ll end up bedridden!
You could sit at those picnic tables and have the ducks came right up to you for a snack.
The kiddos look liked they enjoyed their time. ‘Specially Daniel in that last photo. :D
Hey, did you sign up for the Tuttle Twin curriculum they were advertising? I did, but won’t start until just over a week from now.

That's great that you signed up for the Tuttle Twin curriculum! We were thinking about it, but decided to stick just with the books. I'm sure it's great though, let us know how it goes!

The "Monsoon" was pretty tasty, there were bits of jackfruit at the bottom and a leechee fruit, which was delicious!

Lauren seems to be doing fine as far as her back, we've been going for walks almost every night, it's helped with her feet swelling. Her biggest problem lately is craving chocolate! LOL!

Lauren amended my reply. She says her hips and lower back are sore but not too bad yet. With Daniel and Elaina she had trouble more with one hip than her whole back, but that didn't show up until around 36 weeks. We're only at 32 now, so we'll have to see if walking and exercises help! She also says she has great sympathy and wonders if you've tried deep muscle salve or menthol rubs.

I'll keep you informed on the curriculum. My oldest is still young, so I thought it would be a good introduction to the subject at least.

Thank you. And hopefully she doesn't have to go through too much pain this time around! I haven't tried any salves or rubs yet, but I do have some. I don't use the best posture and I cross my legs often. Not a good combination I'm sure!

The drink was delicious! We supervise Daniel on the playground, but he's pretty good mostly on his own
