🙌🏽Sublime Sunday🙌🏽 by @c0ff33a & Travel Diaries - Kerala Backwaters
Kerala has been one of my best holiday destinations so far. Actually anywhere I travel I have the same feeling, which only makes me wonder, there is so much beauty out there to explore and may be I have not even covered half of it, so there's so much more to still look forward to.
Anyways coming to my Kerala travel diaries, truly it has been one of the best holiday experiences. I enjoy to visit places which has a lot of natural beauty and I can completely soak myself up in nature and for that reason Kerala was one of the best holiday experience. Be it the Tea Gardens, or the Water falls, The lush green mountains or the Back waters, everything has it's own uniqueness.
This was a 2 day trip to the Back waters of Kerala in a place called Kumarakom and them another one in Poovar. Both had it's own beauty.
Normally at the Backwaters there are Boat houses where you can stay. In one of my previous visit to the place I had stayed at the Allepey Backwaters, it was a nice experience but the only problem is that you will be a good feast for the mosquitoes, so this time we chose to stay at a Resort adjacent to a Backwater, and I think that was a wise decision made.
We arrived at the Resort, it had a very pleasant ambiance, these little ones greeted us.
Then we decided to be at the Resort itself and spend our time as already the ambiance there was so serene, the river was touching our cottage and we had a complete view of it right from there, so we did not feel a need to go anywhere out.
The next day then we decided to do the Bird sanctuary which was a 4 km trek into the forest and then left for Poovar where we had the actual experience of backwaters.
It is like a water canal and on both the sides lush green trees giving a breathtaking view
And then at one place our boat guy stopped and gave us time to spend out there, so we soaked up a bit. The attraction of this place is that the backwaters join into the Arabian Sea and you can see the merger of the two. You see the lake first, and then the beach and the Arabian Sea. The Beach starts from where the backwater ends, it is interesting to see. So where I am standing in this picture is the beach and from there on the part of the Arabian sea begins.
And back to our cottage after spending a good enough time there, all happy smiling faces
Kerala is one place which is highly recommended to travel if you are love nature. When I was working with TCS we had our training centre out there, and I have visited this place ample of times, but I still feel there is something new to explore out here in my every visit.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Yes I did that when I was there, hours spent in that with that wonderful view and the energy
As trully said..
Go east or west, India is the best👍....
Bang on, I love my India, even when I am in Muscat I am all the time harping about here, but lately I am feeling little disappointed about how things are going, but to take it with a pinch of salt it's almost everywhere
Hahaha..words of a true Indian.....apun idharich ka hai...😉
Definitely on my list - most likely next year. This year, seems to be spoiled.
I am still thinking by end of this year I can make some trip somewhere. Dubai has opened up tourism :-)
Well for we Indians toh kerala is a must visit, do plan up.
Karela has always been somewhere I want to visit, iv only ever heard good things about it, ... especially the food from there. Maybe a future Hive will provide the opportunity.🙂
Yes I missed out noting on the food, it is very yumm, specially the prawns fry they make, and the sea food is fresh, you really enjoy. I just love the overall vibe of this place. I am sure Hive will provide you many opportunities, just a little patience is all we need :-)
