Steem Four Tours #72: JB Ah Hua Kueh Teow

Not to be known many, in Malaysia ,there are 2 places that are famous of the thin flat noodle- Kueh Teow . One is very well known Ipoh Kueh Teow, another one is Johor Bahru(JB) Kueh Teow.

During this long weekend in Singapore , I went JB for holiday and not forget food hunting in JB.

The food hunting topic for today is Johor Bahru Kueh Teow . So I have previously shortlisted few restaurants if I happened to visit this zone.

Today would like recommend fellow steemians this Ah Hua Kueh Teow Restaurant, which is just opposite the famous KSL mall. It's titled one of the top 5 Kueh Teow as according to Johor Bahru food hunters.

After seated, the restaurant only came to me and ask if I would like medium or large portion , as if there is no other choices here but Kueh Teow Soup. That shows how confident is the owner with their signature dish.

Here it comes the Ah Hua Kueh Teow, with lots of ingredients including sliced abalone . A medium portion like this one I ordered cost RM11.

To be frank, among all the ingredients, I like their Kueh Teow the most , really as smooth as I tasted those in Ipoh. Soup is tasty too. But I think Kueh Teow the most attractive to me. Johor Bahru Chinese community calls this the Kueh Teow Kia, literally means little Kueh Teow, is a type of noodle originated from Teochew , Province of GuangDong China.

While I've conquered one of the top five JB Kueh Teow soup, I'll need to complete visiting other four to compare which restaurant serves the best in my own food ranking .
