This was recommended to me by my sister a long time ago but I never went. Only when we were in the are did we had the chance to come here in this restaurant.

This is a family owned business. It is a bed and breakfast but they also have a restaurant and cafe. I am familiar to this area because a few houses away from this is the house where I used to tutor Korean kids. They were my first students and it was fun almost two years with them. I taught them for less than a year initially. They went back home to Korea and then came back the next school year. They asked for me to teach them again. I have been coming here to this area almost daily before work or on my off days.

Now back to Colione.

It was nighttime when we arrived and almost right about their last call hour. We settled for coffee, salad and pizza. Their all meat pizza is said to be their bestseller. They have wild mushroom salad and we ordered that as well.

It was about 10-15 minutes wait before our orders arrived.

While waiting for our meal, we enjoyed their Benguet Arabica coffee. There is the sour taste that I like.

Soon after, the salad was served. It has highland vegetables like carrots, lettuce, wild mushrooms with mustard-based dressing on the side. Everything tasted fresh especially the crunchy carrots and lettuce. The mushrooms gave that earthy taste that goes well with eveeything else. It was seasoned lightly or none at all so you can taste everything in its raw form. I liked it all. It is something that I will recommend.

The pizza tastes good. It is tasty and freshly done. All the ingredients tastes just right and cooked well.

All in all, it was a memorable dining experience for I enjoyed the food. It was priced a bit on the expensive side but it is still affordable andworth it. The place though needs more lighting for it was a bit dim but if they were aiming for something romantic or subdued environment, then the lighting is just fine.
