Ulog# 214 Edsyl Canteen and Refreshment- Baguio City, Philippines

We were looking for a place to eat dinner with my colleagues. One of my colleagues suggested this place called Edysl Caneen and Refreshment. So We decided to try this place.

Before entering you would see the different types of grilled meat and seafood that they sell like Pork Barbeque, Liempo, Tilapia,Pusit( Squid), Blue Marlin and Bangus(Milk Fish). They also sell food that are Sizzling, these are usually served in a sizzling plate and the food that they serve are Liempo, pigar pigar and sisig.

As soon as you enter you would see the different kinds of food which they are serving. Mostly were grilled meat. They were also selling vegetables.


This was their menu, when I first saw it I said to myself that they should fix it, though the prices are updated. If you zoom in closely at those black patches you could actually see how much were they selling it. Most of their Single order meals costs 90 php or that's around 1.77 USD and their whole orders costs 110 php that's around 2.17 USD

In their setup they had 3 long tables that could accommodate a lot of people.


I was able to take a photo of some of their plaques that they have from their past customers.

I ordered a single order of Pigar pigar.
Pigar Pigar is a very popular street food in Dagupan, Philippines. It is a dish that is made out oof thin slices of beef, deep-fried and served with fresh slices of onions and cabbage. This was how my serving looked like. It was also served with free soup.

The meat that they used was good but I hope they add more seasoning so there would be more flavor. I was hoping for fat but the meat that they served were lean.


Overall, eating in this place was good. The service was fast. The portion of food was right for its price and it was good.
