This picture was shot in Taiwan. Randomly walking around the city, this street caught my eyes. This is one part of the city that we never see any tourist promoting. It's not because it's lit to attract but it's an area where the once younger generation set up business and live. Many in this region are now in their early fifties and beyond. This got me thinking.
In the future, new sections are built and the current Hotspot would one day become obsolete. Then, where would we stand by then. I colour graded it with lightroom to give it a more pleasing look.
Taiwan is beautiful. In Miri, where I am from, the city is built on a more neon less concept. Not much neons around the city. The lights here are from light poles all around the city instead of being from the neon signs of light.
This photo was taken by me while I was crossing the road en route to buying a burger. Miri City. It's pretty quiet during the lockdown. Many are still scared of the virus. Many are also worried financially.
