The idea of several people conferencing has been taken to the next level by the people from Zoom. But, they haven't stopped there.

They are now pushing a $599 device created by a company from San Jose called DTEN, which specializes in video conferencing equipment. They are calling the device the Zoom from Home - DTEM ME.

It is a 27-inch device with an interactive touch screen, 3 wide-angle cameras, and 8 microphones to boot, designed to give the user access to Zoom features without going through the current elaborate process of setting up as it happens on computers and mobile devices.

The purpose-built designed gadget will allow screen pairing, annotation, and scheduling of meetings, among other convenient functions. It is also portable and can be mounted to walls but the bracket won't be included in the package.

Zoom is also planning to partner with others like Neat Bar and Poly Studio X Series in the near future.
