Fraud

A casual encounter between two old pensioned colleagues in the street fruit market on Sunday gave way to a conversation for a lucrative internet business.

"Hello, John. How are you?"

"I'm fine and you?

"Excellent! Now I am fully involved in the crypto market. On a platform that doubles your capital so fast you won't believe it."

"Are you kidding?

"Of course not, if you're interested, stop by the house this afternoon and I'll explain it to you"

Albert was intrigued by John's enthusiasm, so much that he invited his wife to accompany him to his friend's house. Maybe, it would be a good deal.

That afternoon, while they were having tea, John made an impeccable pre-sale of Gladiacon and his referral system. With a minimum investment of 0.3 BTC and the promise to recover and double the capital in just two months. Albert's wife sensed, quite rightly, that something was wrong, what business would have such a high sustained rate of return, obviously that went against the volatility of the most speculative market they were aware of. Nevertheless, John, vehemently in his defense, showed them his payment records received based on the capital invested 3 BTC. He even told them that he would sell two of his vehicles to invest them and thus obtain greater profits.

Back at home the couple discussed the pros and cons of the business, it was the first contact with the crypto market, the enthusiasm of their colleague based on the supposed experience in the financial field and their own investment, determined the decision to enter, with founded mistrust, on the platform under his tutelage.

Albert was excited, now he had his first crypto wallet with 2,000,000 satoshi after transferring 0.3 BTC to the fantastic Gladiacon. With a few clicks, he became an investor in the new market. He only should had to wait fifteen days to receive the first payments in his wallet.

When the date arrived, a bitter taste began to mortify him, his wife looked at him, no need to speak, they were facing fraud. However, he waited three days, hoping to receive the payment, before calling his expert friend on the cell phone.

"Hi John".

"Hi Albert, you don't have to tell me anything. I'm a perfect idiot, looking for easy profits I lost my capital and my vehicles."

Albert felt sorry for him, in his good faith and greed, John dragged many down the same path. However, although he had suffered a monetary loss, he also had a great lesson to address the frontiers of a new digital world. The journey was barely beginning on unexplored paths that would lead him to Steem.

But this is another story.

The End.
