Visit to an Art Gallery

Isn't this a beautiful painting...? I love the colors, and how the artist has blended them together, one hue fading into another, here-and-there, into one delightful composition.

I have always liked abstract artworks, because they can be interpreted differently by everyone who sees them — what is seen comes from inside the person viewing the art, and there is no "right" or "wrong" way to view it. It is a projection of the emotions of the viewer, that person's mental state at the time, or what is floating around in their imaginations. Abstracts have no requirement of "logic and reason" but are processed in a "right-brained" manner.

At this point, many of you might be wondering where this art gallery is that I visited to see this lovely work of art. It was in my back yard! The artist is Mother Nature, and the canvas was a leaf...

The area shown by the rectangle is what I enlarged to make the abstract "painting" at the top of this post.

And the whole point of my talking about this is to call attention to the little things that we can miss every single day if we fail to pay close-enough attention to what is around us. Just as in the book "Horton Hears a Who!" by Dr. Seuss, there are whole worlds around us, in miniature, all the time, if we but look.

Take time to look! Don't miss the beauty that is right beside you!

I absolutly love this and my guess actually was a leaf before I saw your explanation 😉 art is beautiful and can mean so many things in the eyes of the beholder? Is that the right Word? 😁 Lol
Art of Nature is the greatest gift and its free for all of us to enjoy, and there are much to se.

Hey that is neat! Often, I take shots with the intention of doing that, finally get back to them, and forget what I was trying to capture and isolate. That’s probably why I constantly have a phone that is full with the 1000s of images.
