I love to hit up the #thoughtfuldailypost about once a week for a few reasons:
- It is great not only to share positive constructive messages on the blockchain, but to discuss them in comments.
- @wesphilbin is all kinds of champion and leader and I think you should follow him
- @shadowspub gives out Shade Tokens for these posts on the #pypt show every Thursday and I love my Shade!
- It is a good way to fill a post for a day without having to tell a huge involved story, and edit a dozen pics. Sometimes people want short and to the point.
Are you sitting comfortably? Then we will begin.
Some days are filled with challenges. There are battles you will fight and not even feel good when you win. There are losses that seem so monumental that they are starting a bad trend that cannot be reversed. Life is hard but a helmet messes with my hair!
I am the eternal optimist and like to take the losses as learning opportunities, but I take this personally which is where I find my passion. In these times, I take some advice from my nihilist friends who remind me it doesn't even matter.
People living in a jungle would not find any value in my credit card debt. When you have to fire a customer, it is for a good reason and there are 5 more good ones ready to replace. The fact that we all are simply strange and improbable coincidences of atomic cohesion for only a flea fart of time washed over by eons kinda puts things into perspective.
These huge monumental battles we wage and the earth altering consequences of our trials are just products of our own drama.
When it is lifting you up, ride it because that is what life is about.
When it is getting you down, take the sage advice of Platinum Blond...
It doesn't really matter!

hmm, it's good to be a positive person zek. I don't remember lately why I'm turning to be like this. It's just that sometimes I'm feeling envious or jealous for what people have.

Exactly.
The sunset reminded me of this. No matter what trivial challenges I had during the day, it still is beautiful and the geese will fly south (can you see them in the pic?). That and the futility of hating a day like hating the sun going down.
Gonna happen anyway so you may as well enjoy it.

OMG, Platinum Blonde! I had completely removed them from my memory and now they're back! I now need to hunt them down on YouTube and subject my family to them. Hahaha! Thanks for the memories with that!
There's a saying about "Don't sweat the small things," and then an add on that says "Everything is a small thing." There's some truth to that, sure, but not everyone can be The Dude. It's certainly worthwhile to be optimistic, I'll give you that, but it can be hard some times!
Your Zekeisms ring true with me. My own sense of pessimism arises with Zekeism number 1 in that list fails due to choices. Ugh. Teenagers.
Yah I woke up with Standing in the Dark in my head this morning dammit.
I can’t even fathom how much failing I did in high school. I just use the “Win or you learn” as a reminder not to be too disappointed in them and advise to give them to really learn from those plentiful mistakes.
