Merry Christmas and happy new year!

2019 was probably the most succesfull year for me, according to finished trips.

13 countries, 6 of them - new for me. Over 5500 km cycled in total. 7 flights.

Fighting my "traditional" depression (which prevented me from doing anything interesting few years ago) made my life more depended on changing atmosphere and places, trying something new.

Well, it's a good idea, when you aren't in right mood to create billion-valued startup or earn all the money of this world, just to relax and buy a lowcost airplane ticket to the place you had never been. Or ride your bike across the whole continent :).

The main achievement of 2019 is the bike touring trip from Uzhhorod to Lisbon. But wait, let's go from the beginning...

January. Went to Odessa and visited the catacombs.

Those former coquina mines, nowadays a labyrinth network, are longest in the world. And not so well known as Paris catacombs :). Only the small part of it is open to public as a museum, all other parts are "wild" - of course, me and my friends prefer wild. It's easy to get lost. So, don't go there without a guide or your own underground skills. I did it many times in my life.

February. Caught the ultra cheap tickets to Bergamo via Warsaw. Visited Italy for the first time. It's un-fckng-believable!)

Walked around Milan all night long - saved the money instead of paying for expensive hostel. Tool a cheap bus to Genoa - participated in Ingress (online augmented reality game based on GPS navigation) international event. Also spent few hours in majestic Bergamo.

February. Went to Nuremberg, medieval Bavarian city. Drunk a lot of beer!

April. Me and my friends decided to cycle from the Belorusian border to Kyiv. Around 200 km.

April. Illegal urbex trip to Chernobyl zone - my favourite place in Ukraine! I guided 3 friends, they were 1st time here.

First time climbed Duga (Chernobyl-2) radar - 150 m high.

May. Went for the rafting journey on Teteriv river.

May. Used the promocode and booked bus tickets from Ukraine via Berlin to Amsterdam and back. 15 euros only. Travelling by bus for a long distance is boring and terrible... but 15 euros are 15 euros. Saw the windmills in Zaase Schans.

June. Participated in extreme travel competition Gorgany Race in Carpathian mountains. Me and my teammate completed around 80 km walking in less then 24 hours.

July. Another Ingress event, now in Lithuania - Kaunas. After it ends, continued my trip, went to Latvian Yurmala and Riga.

August. Started bicycle trip from Ukraine to Portugal! From Uzhhorod crossed the Slovakian border, continued to Hungary and Slovenia.

September. Cycled through Italy and France. Mediterranean. Magnificient Venice, beautiful Triest, exhausting hills of Cinque Terre, resortal L' Asure coast, multicultural Marseille...

October. Endless cycling through southern Spain. Barcelona, Valencia, Cartagena, Alicante, Malaga, Seville...

Finally, Portugal! I reached the westernmost point of Europe - Cabo da Roca, and flight from Lisbon back home.

Feeling little bit tired after it all. But there are a lot of plans for the next year - maybe, I'll cross another continent with my bike...
