I really like fast painting, loose hand, visible brushstrokes, spontaneity, ... I also like to take my time and work hard on a work, in every detail but always letting you see the spots, the "mistakes", there is the visual richness of a painting for me. That is why hyperrealism bores me ...
I like to use these textures for my digital artworks, which, as I said before, that adds life and makes it more interesting.
