FEAR NOT

2 TIMOTHY 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Who can close a door when God hasn't closed it? who can say it is finished when God hasn't said so?

Most times, we get so scared of things that are not meant to bother us but I guess as humans, we are prone to be scared over somethings we shouldn't be.

Let me use this illustration, a chld is inside a boat with his father when the storms comes, even though the child is bound to be afraid of the storms, but with his father by him side telling him, "My dear, don't be afraid nothing will happen" gives that child more confidence then he ever knew he had to withstand such a strong storm.

So it is with us, we stop fearing inrelevant threats about our lives only when we realize Jesus is with us all the way. Through the stroms adnwaves, through the thick and thins of life.

He tells us over and over again not to be afraid about the waves of life because he expects us to know that He is with us and will never leave us no matter what we face. He expects us to know that He is holding our hand while we are climbing the rope that looks as if it is going to cut any time soon.

JOSHUA 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

As you go through the valley of the shadow of death, be strong and be courageous because you have someone who is walking with us and will never go tired walking with us even to the end of the valley.
