[Eng-Esp] Happy Days! - Días felices!

I wanted to express my emotions today! Things happen in life that fill us with great satisfaction and today is my only son's birthday! I remember the day I had to leave very early in the morning, I had my c-section planned.

My son could not be born naturally so he had to go through the suffering of an artificial birth. That was his beginning to life. After going through the moment of depressing your nervous system with chemicals from the surgical act. He goes through his second suffering.

He didn't breathe, he only did when he wasn't yet outside the uterus and that brought, as a consequence, that instead of air he took the amniotic fluid that protects it in the uterus, while he wasn't born yet.

He then goes on to his third suffering and that is when he is subjected to pain to awaken his paralyzed respiratory system. In this moment, a loud scream is heard, it sounds like a big cat, meowing in pain, but that pain of his brought joy to my life! Thank God he cried!

And there his small life begins and he brings great joys to my life... every month, his birthday, his celebrations. The themes of the first celebrations were chosen by me and then, once he's old enough, he decides the themes and these are the themes that he likes the most.

His uncles always look out for the smallest so he received many gifts. He has many friends, those he has at school and those he makes in the communities where we have lived. He had to travel a lot, to many places where the health services of my profession were required. He got used to it, never complained about travel. On some occasions he became ill during these travels. And I had to travel like this, with him sick, until I arrived to the pediatrician who attended him.

I remember once we were in the field and an insect got into his eye. He didn't want to leave for nothing. We came from the country in our car to the city where we now live. There in the clinic the ophthalmologist goes quickly to the call of his assistant and attends to my son. He removes the wing of the insect that had been attached to its conjunctiva in the eye. My son rested, he was barely 5 years old and understood that he should not open his eyes until I told him. He opened his eyes when the doctor treated him.

He is a healthy boy. He is growing as a very responsible, attentive and affectionate person. He has many friends, he accumulated them during his life in his school, then as a high school student and now he is a university student. I'm so proud of him, now it's him who corrects me in some flaws, especially in technology. He helps me in the kitchen, in the household chores. He has multiple activities at home and manages to do them with joy and with a lot of order.

He is no longer a child, he is already 20 years old. It seems to me that it was yesterday when I heard that loud scream like an injured cat meowing in the resuscitation room of the operating room.

God give you a long life and that you can live much better than you have been able to do until now. That you find the loved one to accompany you in the rest of your life and that you can achieve all the goals that you set for yourself in life.

May God bless you my great little love!!!.

Happy Birthday!!

Thanks for your visit.

Gracias a Dios lloró!
