My Actifit Report Card: July 6 2020

My son and I headed out this morning to play a round of disc golf together and were met with a couple of friends right after we threw on hole one. We decided to play a doubles round together.

It was a really great round and my son and his partner had a wonderful score. My son's partner even had an ace on one of the holes. We all got to sign the disc. It was a straight throw right in between some tight tree gaps with a P3x putter disc. I like to throw that disc too but not usually on that long a drive through a narrow gap.

There was someone out in the river today looking for discs with a rake. We cheered him on hoping he would find some missing ones. I got a call later that morning and it was from him. He had found my missing Wriath disc in the river! I was really happy about that and it was wonderful to get the disc back. It had been a disc that I had enjoyed throwing.

I threw my new to me Thunderbird disc for the first time and explained to everyone that I had found it on the riverbank recently. As it turns out the friend we were playing with had lost it earlier in the same location. There was no name on it but he recognized the disc so I gave it to him. It is interesting how that works out. I was glad that he got his disc back too.

My son ordered a mystery box from Discmania that came in today. We split the box and I ended up with an Instinct fairway driver disc and a MD4 midrange driver disc.

I went out an tested them this evening on a nine basket round. I like them both but I can't throw the Instinct disc 450 feet like Simon Lizotte - I want my money back! Lolz. :D

The MD4 flies very well and I parked a short hole for a birdie with it. I can power drive it for shorter distances and it turns about the same as the Claymore. I don't care for the P-Line plastic it came in all the much though as a first impression. I'm thinking it is going to get really flippy pretty fast but that might be good.

I'm liking the NEO plastic the Instinct disc came in a lot.
