Welcome to the burn, baby
In a move to lower neoxag availability and increase demand, every post that now has the neoxian tag in it will automatically take a 5% hit to their rewards.
The 5% beneficiary city-tax from the rewards will go to @neoxianburn and this will be used to buy up more coins from the market. This, coupled with the 50% reduction to regular rewards should (hopefully) see us rising the prices in steem-engine.
Of course some users weren't happy with this, to which a lengthy discussion ensued in our discord server. Rest assured we are only trialling this, and what can be done, can also be undone. We'll be monitoring it closely.
We now have a City Posts section!
Because of the new change with neoxag and the automatic burning of 5%; big stake curators have chosen to curate in a new channel called #city-posts on our discord. This is where a bot will automatically put in the post of anyone that uses our neoxian.city forum. The chances to get big stake rewards are high if you use our forum.

Neoxian city dragons keep a watchful eye over the atmosphere in the discord server when the big bosses are away. They have the highest stake in the city, and uphold the city-philosophy in a way that is a guiding light for newcomers and regulars alike.

Outstanding Citizen award
Trainee Dragon @raymondspeaks has taken it upon himself to offer his 10% earnings reward at the end of Sunday night, and merge it into an honour which can be bestowed on city dwellers for going above and beyond the call of duty. Make no mistake, this is an award that will be given to people for helping, sharing and giving, rather than taking and selling.
The prize will be no less than 1000 staked neoxag but will grow as he grows in stake power. Outstanding citizen will also get a daily upvote from him for an entire week
This award cannot be earned, it can only be given -- by that it means you can nominate someone, but you cannot vote for yourself. If no Citizens are chosen then the pool will roll over to the following week.
This weeks winner is @TurboBro for being a most excellent, and dedicated citizen.
Her most notable actions this week were:
- Working hard within the bad posts section, and keeping a strict watchful eye over spam, harrassment and plagiarism
- Chatting lots within our discord and making people feel welcome
- Buying coins from the market and staking them
- Being a most excellent citizen!
