orange UFO (photo52)

Week's prompt was: 'Orange', which is an immense field, as its quite a popular colour... and by the way its my favourite one, too! I have loads of pictures of orange objects, from lifejackets to persimmons, but today I bring you something very hot and fresh.

Nature itself provided me (before today's breakfast) a proper object for the current challenge week. This tree mushroom of an unusual orange-brown shade I found in the morning in the gutter on a piece of log. Isnt this thing called a destination? You grew not in vain, my friend! Now hundred of folks (i.e. two hundred of eyes) will see you, instead of nobody, instead of living just for a decomposing into a soil.

Now one may say its straightforward and not creative at all. Fair! But you should not be creative 24 hours in a day, right? sometimes you need to do the plain prosaic things too, right? And it would be really stupid not to pay attention to the signs of heaven and the gods and spit on them. So I obey and share what heaven sent me.
PS > I really enjoyed shooting it from different angles, and made a solid folder -- will share more pics in the future, after focus stacking.
Nature is amazing. Things will grow and live everywhere... if humans just let them be.

вам правда нравится? не подосиновик конечно :) вообще в этом году с хорошими грибами мне не везёт...девушка из Татарстана вывесила фотки с четырьмя (!) ведрами подосиновиков - вот, хорошо в лесох сходили! а у нас... только осины одни... и дожди... да и вообще, я сегодня подумал что мне не удается НАХОДИТЬ грибы в этом сезоне. пока - только НАТЫКАЮСЬ случайно то на один, то на другой. но некоторые находки меня очень радует при этом, выжимаю из них всё что могу :))

как тебе грибочек? вкусовые качества ничтожны, а формы (с черно-белой ножкой! оранжевый1 на маленьком бревнышке!) просто офигительны и вдохновляют. сегодня нашел второй такой же, в другом месте, видимо одновременно растут. ни малейшего понятия, как зовут.
знаешь, я не привык дробить проценты. Если уж апать, то апать. Причём, друзей в первую очередь))
Да, рыжий красАвец тебе попался. Кстати, поищи на деревах трутовик глянцевидный (или как-то так) Тоже красавец, но он жутко полезный. Рейши его ещё зовут, погугли.

и насчет рейши:
пишут, что в России - в СТаврополье и Краснодарской области. у нас такое навряд ли. я не видел. но вообще то их трудно различать, я очень путаюсь во всех этих чагах. хотел бы раз-путаться обратно но ето не просто 8-)
видел я этого глянца у нас, но тогда не знал про него.
Кстати, некоторые источники пишут, что если молодой, то и съедобен.
У наших ножки такой длинной не видел, окрас поярче.
все возможно - климат теплеет, а книжки и определители расцитированные, все старые..
