Homemade Cheesy Squash Ice Cream - Three Ingredients Only πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‹

For the very first time, I made a homemade cheesy ice cream. πŸ˜‹

Yesterday, I harvested squash at my brother's garden. I've been thinking of what I am going to do of the harvested squash. Then, it pop up in my mind, why not make an ice cream. So, after harvesting squash, I go back in my place to start making an ice cream. In my mind, I am thinking that I have ingredients in making an ice cream. When I'm back in my place, I clean the squash. Cut the half. Peel and sliced in cubes.

Then, I boiled the squash in a rice cooker until it soften. When cooked, remove from the pot. Set aside and let it cool.

When the squash was cooked, I am excited to get the ingredients in my food box. Unfortunately, the available ingredient I have is only one can condensed milk. How can I make an ice cream with condensed milk only? So, I checked the fridge of what other ingredients I can use. Good thing I have singles Eden cheese for my sliced bread. πŸ˜ƒ So, I said to myself that I can make an ice cream out of three ingredients only. The main ingredient is the boiled squash. I got one can condensed milk and five pieces eden cheese singles for an added flavor to the ice cream. That's it! I only have three ingredients. πŸ˜ƒ

After completing my three ingredients, I mix them in the blender. Then, put the mixture in an ice cream container. Chill overnight.

I am so excited what will be the outcome of my homemade cheesy squash ice cream. When, I wake up in the morning today, I checked the fridge coz I am excited to taste the ice cream. But, I did not taste it. Coz I gonna bring it at my brother's place. πŸ˜ƒ Before lunch time, I went to my brother's place. I ate lunch there. The Cheesy Squash Ice Cream is our dessert. πŸ˜‹

My homemade cheesy squash ice cream tasted good! It's creamy! Not too sweet! I like it! My brother, his wife and my baby nephew likes it, too! It's delicious up to the last scoop! πŸ˜ƒ

Summer Squash Curry Soup
3 or 4 squash, any kind with a yellow tinge, not zucchini if you're going for that lovely golden color.
You don't need to peel them, just cut them into 1-inch bits.
1 yellow onion, diced.
1 clove garlic, minced.
Olive Oil
1 cup heavy cream (or coconut milk if you're vegan)
3-4 cups water (or vegetable stock, which is mostly water anyway -- if you use vegetable stock, omit the extra seasonings of celery seed and Herbs d' Province)
1Tbls curry powder
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/4 tsp HdP
1/2 tsp minced ginger
1/2 cup cashews

Cook the onion in some olive oil in a dutch oven or a large pot, when the onion is translucent, add the garlic and the curry powder and stir (about 30 seconds) then add the chopped squash and cook in the pot with the curry and onion for a few minutes, stirring the whole time.
Then add the cream and water or veg. stock. and the cashews with the other spices if you use them.
When boiling, lower the heat and cook for about 20mins or until the squash is tender.
Use an immersion blender or a reg blender to puree it all.
Re-heat if necessary, and enjoy! WOO!

Oh well that's interesting we can only grow tomatoes that's what I said I live in an apartment but wow there's only two of us and we got ours up a cute little ice cream maker ourselves that's not noisy the most expensive part about the ice cream is the creamer stuff you have to buy cuz we have a bunch of frozen berries and stuff in the freezer we made vanilla which is not the best I don't thinkneeds fresh strawberry ice cream we made Cherry Garcia ice cream and that's all I think my favorite was the strawberry with fresh slices of strawberries. your squashed it could really healthy too find myself don't do much cooking around here I get dizzy but I take care of my pets maybe some other important stuff but keep my husband does all the cooking and baking and all that stuff

Tomatoes and strawberries are healthy fruits. You are right, the creamer are expensive.
