Would you support this Leo idea ? Input needed.

Here's a silly idea I had for Leo for awhile but I keep postponing.

We all know and see how khal works his ass off to make us rich and I think this could help a bit towards that goal.

So, my idea is simple. I create a second account that makes one post everyday. The post will be pretty much the same everyday with some numbers changed, and it will essentially be a filler to pile up on Leo inflation.

Once enough Leo is gathered, I go out, find a small and cheap yet reputable exchange (e.g. mercatox is imo goodish and eth listings are super cheap last time I checked) and use that Leo to pay the listing fee to get Leo listed. Probably in the form of wleo or bleo since the actual Leo will be hard if not impossible to be listed. Or maybe cub. Or maybe start with Leo, then cub, then Leo again etc. Or just cub since it's a "universal" token with no pegs.

I am ok btw not holding the actual funds if you like the idea and simply doing the hard work (posting and contacting exchanges). We can find somebody else to be the fund gatekeeper. ^_^

I think overall it's a simple yet effective way to use a small part of the leo inflation towards our advantage.

Anyways, that's a very generic "draft" of what I have in mind. Let me know if you would actually support something like this (with your daily or occasional vote), if you have any suggestions in mind or if you think my idea is retarded.

I’m in full support my account is worth leo dust that is not noticeable, but my proof of brain power is still a dust but still noticeable. Nonetheless I’m in. Will be checking your post regularly now to know when you open the account so I can follow and like every post.

I am unsure if another exchange listing will increase our visibility, unless there is an exchange announcement or if it’s a famous exchange. But you will have my support.
If you could get us on Coinbase or Binance that would be great. 😂

Now this is a smart idea and yes count me in. There is always an opportunity to do more and this could really help Leo and Cub thus helping ourselves at the same time.

Totally behind it and up for it. Listings wont make a big difference but if you can get the company to tweet about it or do some type of marketing behind it would really help to build it more or at least a quick little volicity.

Totally in on this. I think your first post could be telling everyone which exchange you're after and what it will cost. In the meantime, I would have no problem with 100% upvotes. Seems like a great "use-case" for my LeoPower....

It's a wonderful idea.
If WLEO/BLEO or CUB are listed in noticeable exchanges, it will be beneficial for all people here.
So I think this work need a big collaboration from everyone.
I have some proposals:

  • Should have a list of exchanges we want to approach. Need to align with Khal on the list.
    Khal may approach some exchanges. If you approach them again, it's double work and non-added value here
  • Roadmap - it's very hard to approach too many exchanges as the same time
  • Regular update on the status and ask for support if needed

Actually, I know a fair few people in the XRP community, perhaps I can contact the guy who works for BiTrue for you?

That's a decently sized exchange, and they tend to do a LOT of promotions...

I think that idea definitely has merit. I'm not sure how much visibility will actually come from a small exchange, but if it's significant enough to be listed by Coinmarketcap and Coingecko, it will at least be yet another "touchpoint," and we can use all the help we can get.

TBH , Mercatox is reasonable exchange to start with listing.
Not sure how the LEO is faring in exchange of Ionomy and cryptobrewmaster guys..
Before we can get to Mercatox, we should publicize these exchange also, and do some liquidity there.

Not following Exchanges /ranking now but Mercatox used to be a nice Exchange. Do not know if it still offering IEO, then LEO can do IEO also for new project.

I truly appreciate your efforts and in for it, whatever you draft for final plan.

You have been a long standing member of the community. Everything is traceable on blockchain and you have a great financial incentive to help LEO. The game theoretic parts sound good and there is not much to loose from trying.

Not having leo listed on external exchanges is actually a bridge to some level of exposure. So yeah, it's a full support on this one, more listing, more volume.

What about then taking all the POB earnt from the posts and swapping for LEO too? Not sure you can add LEO to an exchange as the LEO ticker is already taken??

That's another problem too, but as I said I would probably go for wleo or bleo cause it would be simpler and cheaper to integrate.

As for other tokens I dunno yet. Feels wrong to use the inflation of other tokens for the advantage of Leo and i planned to ask the community s opinion along the way :)

My humble opinion is to do that using the dozens of crypto social media networks that exist out there. We are talking about targeted audience. Small, unknown exchanges will make no difference.
