Crypto Aid Venezuela | Status of the project, an approach.

(Edited)

Motivated by many changes that have affected the economy of the Venezuelan currency (VES) in terms of the price of the dollar and hyperinflation that increasingly envelops the cost of products and services our project has been a bit on standby trying to find ways to carry out its work in a way more focused on specific areas according to:

a._ weekly income of the project.
b._ cost of products.
c._ population to be served.

At first the income was sufficient to carry at least 3 weekly activities but both the national currency and the digital crypto currency (STEEM), have lost much value which triggers to reduce the activities and redistribute resources for a better use of it.

An example of this can be seen in how before with 20 SBD you could cover the cost of up to 10 kilograms of flour and some other items. To date the price of products has skyrocketed and at the same time the price of SBD decreased which allows us to purchase only 6 kilograms of flour, 500 grams of butter and 1 kilogram of mortadella.

Food for Life Program

The Food for Life program is our main food support program developed by the project, which seeks to provide nutritional support for a period of 2 to 3 months per community or until the people in it reach a weight considered "acceptable / healthy" according to the body mass index (BMI) they possess.

This community support programme is carried out in several steps:

The first consists of a visit by specialists and nutritional doctors to know the health status of members of the community.
The second is based on the study of the data collected to establish the margin of malnutrition or people at risk of it and to create an estimated population to be served.
The third is management, through which resources are obtained to support this community.
And finally the fourth step allows the execution of the program, where we provide food support to the vulnerable population.

Bringing food Aid to the streets

Through this program we try to carry out at least once a week an activity in which we provide meals to people in street situations or in that case we visit rural communities to provide support to a certain number of people.

This activity is currently paused, being carried out once every 2 or 3 weeks depending on the income of the project.

Priorities Specific communities or random people?

The project currently has two communities that have been served by our Food for Life program where nutritionists have done the necessary screening to know the health status of more than 200 people with respect to the food intake they do. This screening hopes to yield results that will allow us to determine the population of malnutrition in these communities and attend them in a given period with our program.

In the meantime, Bringing food aid to the streets takes care of people in street situations where on several occasions we have returned home with food from which we prepare motivated that people in street situations act as "nomads" and tend to vary the places they frequent.

In an order of priorities and knowing the limits in terms of resources and teamwork, the project will first seek to serve people in specific communities through the Food for Life program and then seek to help those within our reach in the streets of areas of the central region of the country within the boundaries of Miranda state, and the greater Caracas.

Fundraising Methods:

The project currently has 3 fundamental bases for fundraising:

a._ Vote selling: through this function our project can obtain passive rewards through direct voting to users who use @smartsteem.
b._ SBI: Steem basic income has functioned as a means to receive an automatic vote within the publications of our project, currently possessing a total of 744 SBI Shares.
c._ Auto Voting: several users within the platform fully trust in our work as a humanitarian project so they have automated their vote to the project through Steemauto.
d._ @fundition: through the fundition platform we have been able to carry out various campaigns oriented to humanitarian work within the country. This has been the fundamental method to propose our macro activities and carry them out with the help of users from all over the world.

Organization and more organization:

Owning a project aimed at helping people in our country is not easy. Every day we have to face diversity of factors that start from transportation, electricity or drinking water, reaching extremes such as the cost of products, economic factors that affect the change from SBD/STEEM to our local currency VES, as well as political factors that try to intervene to show the reality that lives in our country.

Therefore, a minimum of organization is required for each activity to be accurate and thus prevent these factors from affecting us 100%.

From Crypto project to first Venezuelan foundation born from a blockchain:

We do not know for sure if this is true or not but we can say that Crypto Aid Venezuela @aid.venezuela has been encouraged by being one of the most supported projects in the shortest period of time, with a growth within the blockchain of STEEM quite impressive. Motivated to this we are working to speed up the registration as a Foundation Legally constituted in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela which we hope will serve for first of all to be a project with legal bases that allow us to avoid any kind of problems with state entities, and at the same time receive resources also from companies and individuals who wish to support us worldwide.

Programa “Food for Life”

Bringing food Aid to the streets

If you want to help us disseminate the project we invite you to use the following markdown at the end of your publications, with your help we will be making more and more people know about the project. Thank you very much. They will add a image + link to our mision as project!
