Website Building

On todays agenda is trying to build myself a website. I’ve had a domain for a year or so but haven’t much used it or made a proper website, but now I really need to.

I’m gonna have a portfolio page and a blog section, and trying to keep everything really simple. I’m doing it on Squarespace because this shit is so annoying to do that I want to keep it as easy as possible for myself. Already lost my marbles when I realised depending on the chosen design, some items aren’t available to put on where you want them to. I already started again three times but now I think I got it and can actually start to put some actual content in there.

I’m not too conserned about SEO or anything like that because I only expect people to see my page because I link it to them myself. My aim is to use my website as a sort of calling card and to show what is my style and view about photography. My website won’t have everything miscellaneous I shoot, or random client work or my pricing. I know some photographers try to show that they do every kind of photography, but to me that just looks like a mess, kinda like this Hive blog of mine... Which is why I never show it to anyone if they ask what kind of photography I do.
