Humans have Disappeared !!
Today been #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tatoodjay , i decided to take to the high end of Bangkok city where all the main shopping areas and restaurants are located a area i don't get to very often when i am in Thailand.
This area as i have know it to be has always been congested with shoppers from all round the world an area where the high end brands of clothing , handbags , watches and many more items of class are bought but today i had to see it for myself how sadly this area is deserted today. All the malls are barricaded with wire fences.
At this time of the afternoon which right now is 3.15 pm afternoon you wouldn't dare try to cross this road as you wouldn't make it alive to the other end normally bustling with traffic and street vendors everywhere but as you can empty and ever the walkways feel lonely.
Never in my life would i have thought i would see this moment and i can imagine the damage it is doing to the worlds economy and the effect it is having on the society.
And construction keeps going on i don't get it ??
One of my favorite outdoor garden restaurant missing my yummy Thai cuisine's hopefully be open and the end of this month.
Despite all that is happening it was quite enjoyable walking the streets of Bangkok today the weather is a little to hot but fabulous clean blue skies.
This is another resestaurant i love to eat at when i am in Bangkok but at the moment they are just doing take aways and the staff has a little more time to play...lol 😊
This guy made me laugh he had everything possible stacked and roped around his motorbike all sorts of Thai lunch snack boxes very smart idea he had it all worked out no need to be waiting for Grab deliveries services.
Then on my way home i took a walk through the most popular nightlife street in Bangkok know all around the world for it's beer bars and restaurants this area never sleeps it's 24/7 and unfortunately this will be the last area to open up once this is all over cause this is where most of the crowd gathering happen.

wonderfuls hots on your walk, stranger with so few people out and about, that flamingo walkway is so cool
thanks for joining Wednesday walk
It was a nice quiet and interesting walk but you wouldn't want it to stay this way.
Ohh no I think we all are looking forward to things returning back to normal
We certainly are here in Bangkok they are thinking of opening some entities up but not all. I might be here for a couple more months before international flights open up but i don't mind i am enjoying my time here 👍
Make the mos tof your time there it could be quite a while till everything opened up
This is true am in a country of so much to see and do yet it's all on lockdown but i am enjoying walking around the city good thing they haven't locked us up in our rooms like some other countries that would be depressing 😢
Ohhyeah staying indoors is teriible, we are not Locke din, but my Dr has advised to stay indoors with the pollen levels and my lung issues so I am voluntarily locked in and going crazy well crazier than normal LOL
I know exactly where your coming from our lockdown has just been extended another month to the end of May but luckily we are still allowed out doors but no parks or anything open so it's pretty boring out there but at least we can stretch our legs 👍
here many are still out walk to many I think and not giving each other good space which is a concern,
That is not good selfish people with no regards to anyone else they should be whipped like they were or still doing in India 😣
Well here people seem to feel they have the right to do whatever they want and do not want authorities to tell them what to do or not do
They are the people that make it hard on others get that whip out on them selfish people 😆 😆
Ohh yeah I do agree, and that's why we stay indoors away from them all :)
Amazingly quiet streets in Bangkok and shopping malls!
Would never have thought to see a huge city like Bangkok taking a nap 😆
