... It's a long and boring winter night ...
... in a small seaside town ...
... and I'm walking these empty streets ...
... like the last man on earth ...
... trying to compensate for the actual lack of any kind of vivacity ...
... with the vivid ... and kind of hyperactive ... imagination ...
... the only thing at my disposal ...
... that can bring back to life ...
... this catatonic place ...
... and so I'm wandering around ...
... with my compact little camera ...
... that can enhance ...
... and reimagine ...
... the experience of the world I'm in ...
... while passing through the old center ...
... in the trippy mood ...
... I saw a golden cat ... a cross between the domestic cat ( Felis catus ) and some unknown mystical been, even a divinity, maybe...
... she was shining like the little sun ... or a statue made of pure yellow light ...
... and that shine ...
... remained for quite some time glued on my eyes ...
... transforming through its alchemy ...
... the darkness ...
... into gold ...
.... a half-hour later ... in another part of town ...
... a toad was passing across the narrow street ... and my little dog Bepina was watching the scene ...
... the moon was floating above the chimneys ...
... and moonlight ...
... was dancing on the water ...
... creating some lovely abstractions ...
... I even met a simple flat pedestrian walking across the sky ... directed to the city of Pula ...
... and two black dogs ... laying under the little altar on the street corner ...
... while passing by the shopping mall ...
... a very boring and unremarkable place ...
... I was brought back to reality ...
... but not for long ...
... this trippy little detail on the street ...
... sent me back to wonderland ...
... and I continued my journey ...
... through the fairytale version ...
... of the dull winter night ...
... in the sleepy little town ...
... enveloped in layers of boredom ...
... like a larva ...
... waiting for spring ...
... the lights and colors exploded again ...
... in my head ...
... the wing of a dead bird on the dark wet asphalt ...
... became a precious fossil shaped in pure gold ...
... and the cash machine was communicating with me, telling me - I'm here ... literally ... that's the meaning of the words '' Ovdje sam '' that you just saw on the screen ...
... and then ... uplifted by the cash machine ... I went to the port ...
... the fishing boats ... from a distance ... looked like a strange building in the shallow water ...
... but when I came closer ... they looked more ... well ... just like normal boats ...
... and there I decided ...
... that going back home ...
... could be a good idea ...
... so I programed my feet ...
... to bring me where I live ...
... and while the feet were executing their program ...
... on that returning trajectory ...
... I saw a few more cool little things ...
... like this ...
... this ...
... and this ...
... and that's it ...
