A Wednesday Walk Uphill

Hey All! For my Wednesday walk I'm trudging uphill to an area of Cromwell Valley Park that I hadn't seen before.

Cromwell Valley Park is in Baltimore County, Maryland and I took this walk just before Halloween. I, actually, made it up two hills but luckily they weren't steep. Here are a couple of photos of the first hill.

I was happy to get to see some of the last of the Autumn colors along the way as a storm came in that night and the trees lost a lot more of their leaves from the winds. I also took my first photo from the first hill. I had to use zoom as the old shed was far off in a field.

At the top of this first hill there was this pretty scenery and we took the second hill up on the right.

This was the first time that I saw this area which I thought was just for park personnel.

At the top of the second hill was a large campsite. I'd love to be there one night when they had a campfire. I know they do a couple of night events and I probably wouldn't be able to attend but it is still nice to think about it.

There were some very nice sights up here also including more colorful trees and some pretty berries.

It was also very nice to look back on the beautiful trees and scenery that we had just passed. I love seeing things from a different angle.

But...some good things do come to an end and it was getting to be mid afternoon so we made our way back down the hills and enjoyed seeing the Autumn colors one last time before heading home. 🏡
