A Beautiful Wednesday Morning in Byron Bay.

This morning was another splendid day in the town of Byron Bay even though it is coming into the winter season we are still having the most beautiful days not to hot and not to cold those in between days so it was a great morning for my run which is my ritual every morning along the beach up to the lighthouse and home again a total of 10 km run and it sets me fine all day.

Still not been able to return to work because of the covid-19 scenario must keep myself busy so decided to built myself a new chicken pen as the chicken family has expanded more fresh eggs for us and my neighbors.

My mum had a knee replacement just over a couple of weeks ago she wanted to get out of the city so i picked her up and bought her to my place where we could take care of her more plus she has more room around here to do her nature walks to exercise her new knee but been a tough mum she can't help herself in getting amongst the action by helping out God love her.

With mums help i was able to get the new chicken family home up and running today.

While mum and myself were working on the chicken pen my wife was busy finishing of a collage botanical garden canvas painting that a lady had ordered from my wife one of the best , i have seen her do she's mastering this canvas painting with high integrity.

Four new young ladies joined us last today..........fresh eggs again in a few weeks!

Mean while Molly the cat was really helping 😸

And before we knew it , was time for dinner so the wife and my mum take to the back yard garden and pick some nice fresh veggies and lettuce out of the veggie garden department.

So more dinner delights from the veggie garden, perhaps not the bocconcini, I haven't perfected growing that yet!!!!!

Mulberry crumble for desert tonight from our Mulberry tree in our back yard.....mmmmm !!!!

We've reached a compromise, the birds and I. They have the high ones I can't reach and they leave me the low ones! 😊 😆 😀

They are a bit of work but it's nice to have them fresh eggs and extra ones at the moment giving back there appreciations for giving them a bigger home 😊

It is sad and real challenging for a lot of people stay positive and active it will be all over real soon and we can all get back to the norm but you are lucky having all those birds and chipmunks visiting you 😊

Most days it's easy to remain positive and I really can't complain. I am in a perfect place to be isolated and I'm good with having an online social life! ❤️

Yes, I imagine it is a lot of work and very time consuming. But I am sure it is also very satisfying. Maybe after the pandemic, you would want to make that your way of life. 😊

I am very impressed with your new chicken house! Oh! You have got lots if fresh vegetables too! This is really a sustainable lifestyle, very healthy too.

We are lucky to live in a good area with great beaches around us and good soil to grow my veggies and the chickens are so happy with there new home we are getting extra eggs all in good timing with this pandemic don't have to leave the house so much for shopping.

Molly always seems to be over worked 😸
