Lightening Round ~ Reiterate

The word of the day for today December 10 is reiterate.

I have no idea what I'm on about with this one. I'm nursing a headache, so forgive it before you read it. LOL.

If you're wondering what this is all about, it's quite simple. Everyday till the year is over, you pick the Merriam-Webster word of the day and write something with it, anything at all. Your writing will have to be 99 words and the word of the day will be used too, however you like. There! Now, go and tap on your creative juices. You never know what you'll come up with.

The dinner table was set when she got home. There were candles everywhere, both big and small. She paused and smiled a little. Red had always been her favourite colour. There were times she dreamed and hoped that the man behind this would notice, even just once. But that time was over.

She bypassed the flowers and walked up the stairs to her room. If only he had the slightest idea. She had loved and waited for years. She was tired of everything, of listening to him reiterate every night. One more day and the divorce papers would arrive.
