""Pa ... Papa, may I ask?"

Suddenly I was a little startled when hearing my daughter's asked something, which suddenly interfered me watching a favorite TV program with a question.

"Oh... dear, don't worry just say a word about that !" I replied in a clear and convincing voice.

"I am afraid, my friend Adit, he is good at drawing!"

"Then why you are afraid ?"

"I am feeling a bit jealous about him, but I am also afraid that Adit is envy of about me."

"Ha ha ha...!" my daughter laughed because she just realized that the characters in Sinchan's comics don't have noses.

Then I pointed to the cover image of the Karikage Kun comic and showed the comic character's nose.

Well ... look, there is no a nose like that, the nose drawings like in the Karikage Kun comic does not exist in real life!" my daughter looked it carefully.

"Ha ... ha ...! Yeah, that's right, the nose is really funny"

"Now look at the cover image of Kungfu Boy ... See the nose picture in more detail," I said, showing the Kungfu Boy comic book.

"My daughter... look, three comic artists make three different and not the same picture comics"

"Sinchan's comic without nose, Karigake Kun with his funny nose and Kungfu Boy with more detailed nose drawings."

"Same with you and Adit, dear!"

"You can't imitate the drawing made by Adit and vice versa Adit can't make a drawing like you, right?" I also gave an affirmative question to bring up my daughter's confidence.

"Yeah right, Adit can't imitate the drawing that I made," answered my daughter

"If Adit is envy of your drawing results, it means that your ability is recognized by Adit, on the other hand, you don't be envious of the results of his drawings."

"Now daddy asks if you can draw like Adit?" I gave a question to my daughter again.

"Kalau saya menirunya bisa sih, tapi nggak bisa mirip persis sama" jawab putriku dengan lantang.

"Don't compare yourself to Adit. You are you, you are not Adit, and Adit is not the same as you, understand?" I asked at once to give an explanation to her.

"So don't feel inferior, and also don't be arrogant. You have your own characteristic in drawing and you can't compare yourself with others.

"You like Sinchan's comics the most, even though it doesn't have a nose, but you still like it and there are lots of other people who like it."

"Just like you, many people like your drawings."

"So ..... you now have to be more confident and humble, get rid of your self-confidence and envy. You have the same picture as Adit. The only difference is the character of your drawing, like the three comics that papa showed earlier ... different comic artists who draw ... different drawing results."

"Like you and Adit, the drawings are equally good ... there's no need to be envious of each other ... your drawings have their own individual characteristics." I say with a smile.
