GIANT SQUID is a RARE rarity untamed edition monster that lies under the water deck. It gains Blind ability at level 4 which gives increased chances of missing the opponent's melee and ranged attacks.

I've added the screenshot of my battle and you can also find a link to watch my battle below. )

What was my Lineup?

It was a 25 mana battle with Healed Out and Odd ones Out rulesets, I'll explain each monster used in the battle below.
So, let's move forward.

I went with Alric Stormbringer water Summoner, it gives +1 Magic attack to all friendly monsters. But I couldn't use any magic monster so I didn't take much advantage of the summoner but other monsters.

My first monster was the Old legendary Lord Arianthus, I used level 3 of it as a tank due to its multiple abilities including Thorns, Void, Magic Reflect, and Shield. It is a good tank for most of the battles and I am addicted to use it as a tank whenever it is available.

In the second place, I used a Rare monster Water Elemental level 5. It's a Ranged attacker with Heal and Doge ability, though it was a healed out battle I wanted to take advantage of Doge which gives increased chances of evading melee and ranged attacks. But luckily my opponent didn't use any sniper.

The third position was covered with Gaint Squid itself. As I wrote it comes with Blind ability which increases chances of missing attacks from melee and ranged monsters. As my opponent didn't use any melee and ranged so I couldn't get any advantage of it.

Next, I used level 6 Sabre Shark, it's a common beta sneak monster, It helped me to destruct my opponent's back line.

In fifth place, I placed the Pirate Captain, its another ranged I used which has snipe and inspire abilities. Its sniper kept attacking second place magic and inspire gave me +1 melee to my sabre shark.

Lastly, I filled the remaining 1 mana with Creeping Ooze level 6. I used it at last position to slow down my opponent's and if it comes with any sneak so I won't be at much lose if it gets killed.

Did your strategy work?

Yes, it worked well but I think it could have been improved, I will see if I can make better use of it in my next battle.

Do you use Giant Squid often?

Nope. I haven't used it before but now I will keep taking it with me whenever I get a suitable ruleset. In my opinion, this monster can be used when we get Odd ones out, and also I can use it in reverse speed ruleset as it has 2 speed at the level 4 and I am not gonna upgrade it yet.

That's all for now. See you at Battle Field.
